St. John Parish sponsors several ministerial and catechetical programs for young adults and parents. These include:
Ages 22 - 35
Frassati Society - Open to young adults 22 – 35, The Frassati Society is under the patronage of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. Pier Giorgio, named a Blessed by Pope John Paul II in 1990, was born in Turin Italy in 1901 and died in 1925. Known as the “Man of the Eight Beatitudes” his life was characterized by purity, radiant joy, piety and his freedom as a child of God. The Frassati Society meets on a regular basis for fellowship and study. To learn more, please contact Sandy Morningstar.
Parents
Parenting – Our Parenting Program is offered on the second Sunday of each month immediately following the 6:00 p.m. Sunday Mass, and lasts until 8:30 p.m. Led by a skilled educator and facilitator, this program tries to help parents become more effective in their God-given responsibility of raising their children. Babysitting for children three years old and above is offered. For more information, contact Paul Gallagher.
