Full Day Kindergarten Planning

Beginning with the 2007-2008 school year, Maryland schools are required to offer Full Day Kindergarten.

In May 2005, the School Board reviewed and discussed 10 alternatives for implementing Full Day Kindergarten at St. John School. One alternative – Eliminating the Kindergarten Program, was rejected. It was also decided that the next step would be to share the plan with the parents and parish community to solicit feedback.

The Full Day Kindergarten Plan is posted on the link below and will be discussed at Back to School Night at the beginning of the 2005-2006 school year.
