From the Pastor
This weekend we join with parishes throughout the nation to
pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
We are fortunate to have three young men from our parish
enrolled in the college candidate program.
Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they discern
the Lord’s call in their lives. You may be aware of others who have
the potential for a vocation. A word of encouragement and of prayer
can be a tremendous opportunity for grace. Our continued and
faithful prayers for vocations will bear fruit.
Next weekend, we will join with parishes from across the
country to travel to Washington, D. C. to witness and pray for the
sanctity of human life and an end to abortion. The Pro-Life
Committee of our parish has chartered two buses; more information is
in this week’s bulletin.
We are encouraged to join together in prayerful witness to support,
nurture and protect the sacred gift of life.
