From the Pastor

Welcome to Advent!  As we begin this beautiful season of hope and expectation, I invite and encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities for prayer including: daily Mass on weekday mornings including Saturdays, visits to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel in the Parish Center, Penance Service (Dec. 17th at 7:00 p.m.), and invite a friend and/or neighbor to come to church with you.  The Sacred Scripture readings used for the Sundays of Advent provide us with rich and meaningful material for quiet prayer and meditation. Advent booklets are available in the narthex of the church, and our parish bookstore in the Portico has a wonderful selection for spiritual reading. I pray that we will experience the hope, joy and peace that only God can provide during the prayerful season of Advent.

                May God bless you,
