From the Pastor
Today, with Catholics throughout the world, we celebrate
World Mission Sunday.
World Mission Sunday gives us a unique opportunity to become
“spiritual partners” with the priests, Sisters, Brothers, and lay
catechists who are serving in village missions, small schools,
medical outposts, orphanages, refugee camps and crowded cities
throughout Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands and remote regions of
Latin America. While we
may not travel to a distant land to proclaim such “Good News,” we
are still called by our Baptism, to share our faith, to be
missionaries. World
Mission Sunday reminds us that we can fulfill our missionary
responsibility on this Sunday and everyday through prayer and
financial support.
May God bless you,
Liturgy & Worship
