From the Pastor

Next weekend at the Saturday evening Mass and again at the 11:15 Sunday morning Mass, we will offer the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.  Celebrating this sacrament with the parish community in the context of the Eucharist provides the parish with the opportunity to pray with those who are dealing with a serious illness.  If you know of someone who is ill, and unable to attend one of these liturgies, please contact the parish office.

I want to express my appreciation to all who work with and through our parish health care ministry to respond to the spiritual needs of the sick, homebound and hospitalized.  The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a tremendous source of grace and healing.  I encourage those in need to receive the sacrament.  If you would like to be anointed before surgery, kindly let the parish office know and arrangements can be made.  Anointing can also be done when you attend Mass on the weekend or on a weekday.

                May God bless you,
