From the pastor

Thank you to our local Council of the Knights of Columbus for all they do for our parish.  I am especially grateful for this month’s golf tournament.  I want to thank the coordinators of the annual event, all the volunteers, the participants and the generous sponsors.  All proceeds from the tournament will go to support the Youth Ministries programs of our parish.  Needless to say, the tournament provides me with another excuse to be on the golf course.  Some have suggested that additional practice would be helpful too!

I also want to thank all who were responsible for coordinating our annual parish picnic.  Thanks to their work and dedication, we have an opportunity to enjoy the afternoon and build parish fellowship.  Your continued support of parish events and activities is deeply appreciated.

May God bless you,

We want to reach out to couples and families in the community by highlighting the blessing of adoption. The fair is sponsored jointly by the Respect Life Ministry, the Elizabeth Ministry and the Wellness Ministry of Our Lady of the Chesapeake Parish. There will be representatives from the community, including Catholic Charities and other domestic and international adoption agencies.
