From the Administrator
This week we have the freedom and the responsibility to cast our vote, to influence public policy and to assure that those elected represent our Catholic values. You are encouraged to access the Maryland Catholic Conference’s website to inform your conscience on the following topics before casting your vote. www.mdcathcon.org. Once on the site access the Nov 7 key issues.
Education & Family Life ** Social Concerns** Respect for Life** Summary of Issues *** Candidates' Responses
The parish mailed to every registered household this week the Parish Annual Report. I am very grateful to the finance committee, development committee, school board and the entire staff for their efforts to publish it as well as to the volunteers who came on Monday and Tuesday to stuff and sort the mailing. There will be two Q&A sessions this week, Thursday, November 9 at 7:00 pm and on Friday, November 10 at 10:30 am. Call the office to RSVP so proper arrangements may be made for the meetings.
The parish office will only be accessible by the side door this week as the handicap ramp is being installed at the front door. The chapel will be relocated during this week to the room across from it so that proper repairs may be made to it. There is a temporary doorbell being installed. Please be patience with the staff and the volunteers who are on hand to answer the door.
Peace,
MSGR. ART’S ADDRESS: If you would like to send a card or note to Msgr. Art, the address is: St. Rose of Lima Rectory, 3803 4th Street, Baltimore, MD 21225.
