From the Administrator

Each month the Knights of Columbus offer a breakfast to the parish, typically on the first Sunday of the month, to gather people in a relaxing atmosphere. The parish will be launching a new endeavor to increase the times we gather after mass to continue our celebration.  Initially, another Sunday per month will be designated to gather for donuts, coffee and juice.  At this time, we have no idea how many people will take advantage of this, so for the first few times, we may run out of food by the second mass or have enough food left over for the next month (we will not be saving the donuts for the next month!!).  The gathering is free, but if you wish to make an offering to help defray costs, a basket will be provided.

While we are gathering in the Portico twice per month, it is during these moments that the many groups who wish to promote your ministry can do so while and when the parishioners are there.  Typically, there are several groups per month who wish to distribute flyers, sell tickets or promote an event, etc. These two fellowship times per month will provide a nice environment in all weather conditions to care for the many requests. Organizations that wish to distribute or sell something will still need to call the parish office ahead  of time to coordinate the arrangements.

         Peace,

MSGR. ART’S ADDRESS:  If you would like to send a card or note to Msgr. Art, the address is: St. Rose of Lima Rectory, 3803 4th Street, Baltimore, MD 21225.

Throughout the year we invite parishioners with any of the above conditions, or who are entering into hospice care to request the Sacrament of the Sick.  Kindly let the parish office know that you wish to be anointed, and arrangements can be made.
