From the Pastor

Fr. Patrick Carrion, the new administrator, has visited us several times to learn about the parish. I know he will be welcomed warmly as I was when I came in January. Please pray for him as he prepares to take on this new assignment. I have begun my preparations to move on to Hagerstown. I will need your prayers too.

With school being out, it seems very quiet around here. Summer is always a fairly quiet time at parishes. Nevertheless, there are still activities that will take place here like the vacation bible school that promise to bring a little life to the campus. Will you be coming to or helping with any of the summer activities here at St. John’s?

Lastly, an update on Msgr. Art will be included in the bulletin from time to time. This update will be much more thorough than what I have been writing. It is his hope that this will help you understand his situation better. Msgr. appreciates all of our thoughts and prayers. Let us continue to remember him when we speak to the Lord.

                                                God bless,
