From the Pastor

As we begin the first full week of Lent, I would like to offer some suggestions for your consideration. I encourage you to take advantage of the Lenten opportunities to enrich your prayer life: morning offering and evening prayers, grace before and after meals, daily Mass (perhaps Saturday morning may fit your schedule), the Stations of the Cross (regularly scheduled or privately), visits to the Adoration Chapel, Daily Rosary, Divine Mercy, and various novena prayers. Fasting and self-denial provide us with opportunities for practicing mortification, thanks to which it is possible to render greater assistance to those in need. You may consider participating in the Annual Lenten Appeal. I pray with you that the Lenten season will be a season of grace and blessing for our parish and for the whole world.

                May God bless you,
