From the Pastor

As Election Day approaches I offer some suggestions for those of us who have the privilege and responsibility to vote. Pray for our nation and for those who are seeking public office. Be an informed voter. The Maryland Catholic Conference prepared the Congressional Candidate Survey and the Candidate Responses included in this week’s bulletin. It is my prayer that the Gospel of Christ and the teaching of the Church guide us in making our decision. Exercise your right to vote.

Next weekend is our parish’s annual stewardship appeal. I have invited members of our parish to speak (after Holy Communion) at all the Masses. The recent mailing from the parish contained the financial statements of income and expense for our parish and our parish school, as well as the status of the building fund. Thank you for your faithful support of our parish. Your prayers, sacrifices and participation are deeply appreciated. I invite you to prayerfully consider renewing your financial commitment to our parish.

May God bless you,
