From the Pastor

This weekend marks the first anniversary of the dedication of our new church. Once again I want to express my appreciation for all your prayers, sacrifices and good works that have made the dream a reality. Although several challenges remain with the operating systems of our new church that will be resolved soon, we can be justly proud of what has been accomplished.

The anniversary weekend provides us with an opportunity to focus on the beginning of the Year of the Eucharist (that the Holy Father announced last week), and to review the liturgical practices in our church. I am deeply grateful to the entire liturgy committee and all liturgical ministers from setup to cleanup for your continued service to God and our parish. My brother priests and I will address this topic in our homilies this weekend and a flyer will be available with the bulletin.

May God bless you,
