From the Pastor

I continue to thank God for your faithful generosity to the poor and those most in need. The annual report from our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society that was published in our bulletin shows that our donations (not counting the Christmas Program) are approaching $100,000. The parish response to the request for donations and prayers to help the victims of the hurricanes in Mandeville , Jamaica and Haiti has been equally generous; the collection totaled more than $15,000. I know that God blesses your sacrifices.

Many have noticed the ongoing work on our new church. Additional insulation has been sprayed into the outside walls of the church. The work should be concluded this week. The storm water management ponds near both parking lots are being reworked in order that standing water will dissipate more rapidly. Construction documents are being prepared for the renovation of the old church for use as our parish hall. The plans will be available for your review soon. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

May God bless you,
