From the Pastor

Please join me in offering congratulations to the newly ordained priests of our Archdiocese. Of particular interest to our parish is Rev. Michael DeAscanis. Father DeAscanis, who spent his pastoral year with us, completed his preparation for the priesthood in Rome and was ordained on Saturday in Baltimore. He will celebrate his First Mass today at 11:15 a.m.  He will be available after Mass for his First Blessings and a reception will be held in the cafeteria. As a reward for all his hard work and dedication, it is my understanding that he will serve in Western Maryland for the summer. Father DeAscanis will return to Rome in the fall to complete his graduate studies and return to the Archdiocese next summer for his first parish assignment. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

May God bless you,
