From the Pastor

When I observe the good you do, the sacrifices you make and the witness that you give to our Faith, I thank God for St. John parish. Last weekend, 290 teenagers and adult volunteers worked and prayed together in preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation. I am grateful to all who participated in, prayed for and gave leadership to our parish’s Confirmation Retreat. I want to acknowledge Paul Gallagher, our Director of Religious Education and Jordan Tippett, our Youth Minister for their outstanding dedication and work. Please continue to pray for the youth of our parish and especially those who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this spring.

Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to adapt to our new church. We will be working with the local police to try to ease the exit from the parking lots on Sunday mornings. Although we have had people standing for some of the Masses, the ushers ask me to encourage you to move to the centers of the pews and there may be room for everyone to have a seat. Thanks again for your cooperation.

                May God bless you,
