From the Pastor

Please join me in extending congratulations to Frank and Maria De Cesare. Their son, Robert was ordained a priest on Christmas Eve in Rome. Father Robert De Cesare is a member of the Legionaires of Christ. Hopefully when he returns to the United States and is visiting his family, he will have an opportunity to celebrate one of the weekend Masses in his home parish. I understand that Deacon Michael DeAscanis, who is completing his preparation for the priesthood at the North American College in Rome, was present for Father De Cesare’s ordination. Deacon Michael will be ordained this summer at the Cathedral in Baltimore. He will celebrate his First Mass in our parish this June.  Please continue to pray for vocations to the priesthood, religious life and to the permanent deaconate.

In expressing my litany of thanks for all your help, cooperation and participation in the Christmas Liturgies, I neglected to mention by name the wonderful work of the Art and Environment Committee. The general consensus was; thanks to their work, our church was beautiful for its first Christmas.

                May God bless you,
