From the Pastor
Please join me in offering sincere congratulations to Marilyn Gramlich. As a result of her years of dedicated ministry in our parish Health Care Ministry, personal witness to her family and friends and faithful service to our parish, she was presented with the Medal of Honor from the Archdiocese. Bishop Malooly, the Western Vicar, recognized Marilyn as well as members from the other parishes in our region, at the 12:30 Mass in St. Michael’s parish, Mt. Airy last Sunday.
Hopefully you have noticed that all the Masses celebrated in our parish this weekend are offered in thanksgiving for our parishioners whose prayers, sacrifices and good works have made our beautiful new church a reality. Fathers Leo and Brian will be celebrating the Mass of Thanksgiving in the Basilica of St. John Latern while they lead our parish pilgrimage to Rome.
I am also deeply grateful to our parishioners who are speaking at all the Masses this weekend for our annual stewardship appeal. I am a firm believer in faith-based giving. Your prayerfully considered decisions for the financial support of our parish are necessary and deeply appreciated.
May God bless you,
Liturgy & Worship
