From the Pastor

Congratulations and thank you to the cast, crew, producers, writers, musicians and directors of THREE MARYS. Not only a wonderful and creative musical, showcasing the talent and dedication of our parishioners, but also a celebration of faith. The THREE MARYS was an ecumenical event with members of eleven churches in the Westminster community participating. I invite you to join me in expressing heartfelt appreciation for this outstanding experience. I am particularly grateful for the youth who worked an average of 115 service hours for rehearsals and stage and costume preparations.

As our community came together for an ecumenical prayer service at the Westminster Church of God on September 11th, let us continue to pray for peace, an end to terrorism and healing for our nation and for the world.

                May God bless you,

A NOTE REGARDING ST. JOHN TRAVEL BASKETBALL: This season begins a new direction for the Boys and Girls Parish Travel Basketball teams. St. John will be entering into competition in the CYO basketball leagues within the Archdiocese, and will be represented in the CYO leagues by boys and girls travel teams in the 4-8th grades. I am very excited about this new opportunity for our parish youth to become involved in the area Catholic Youth Organization.
