From the Pastor
I want to thank the many parishioners who have responded generously to our annual Summer Benefit Collection. This important collection enables our parish to meet our budget responsibilities during the summer vacation season. I also am grateful for the many and thoughtful responses parishioners have given to liturgy survey that was included in the summer mailing. If you have not had an opportunity to make an offering or send in your response, please prayerfully consider doing so. I also want to thank you for your continued and faithful stewardship and your support for the poor in our community.
Work on our new church building is almost on schedule. The Dedication Committee is also working very hard to prepare for dedication and festivities scheduled for October 26, at 2pm. The celebration will begin with a formal service of thanksgiving and closing of existing church building. The building has served our parish well for more than thirty years. God willing and if the budget is right, and if we meet the goal for our pledges, work will begin immediately to renovate the former church building to be used as our parish hall. Thank you for your continued prayers, support and generosity.
May God bless you,

The towering mystery of the Fourth Gospel is the "Divine Family" of God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. By sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world as a man, the Father initiates this revelation. "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld His glory, glory as of the only-begotten Son from the Father." John 1:14. The 2nd week of September, we will begin the study of the Gospel of John. The study will run for the Fall and Spring sessions. Registrations forms are at the door of the Church. For more information, contact Beverly Backof at 410-876-6275 or bbackof@hotmail.com.
