From the Pastor

The weekend of August 9/10, Father Gus Gordon will visit our parish and speak at all the Masses. Father Gordon is a representative of FOOD FOR THE POOR, INC. Many of us are familiar with the outstanding ministry this organization continues to support in Haiti, the poorest country in the western hemisphere.

As construction of our new church nears completion, more and more interest has been generated, and visitors are tempted to cross beyond the orange fence.  Please respect the no trespassing signs, and remember that the construction site is dangerous. Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank you to Darlene Smith and the School Alumni Committee.  Last Sunday’s noon Mass and the Alumni Reunion Celebration at Martin’s Westminster was a wonderful experience for all. This event also marks the beginning of our school Alumni Association. Hopefully our school alumni will build on the success of this initial experience. Thanks again for all the hard work, creative displays and joyful participation.

                May God bless you,
