From the Pastor
Several times last winter, teenage visitors would ask me to sign a copy of our parish bulletin. I thought they were so impressed with our parish and my homily that they just had to have my autograph. A parent explained that the signature was needed for proof that they had attended Mass while away from their home parish. What a nice idea and a wonderful lesson in humility for me. If you have an opportunity to vacation this summer, I would enjoy reading bulletins from other parishes, obviously I have much to lean. Signatures are not required.
Speaking of vacations, I have noticed the large number of people who attend daily Mass when vacationing in Ocean City. It is really inspiring. If you do not have an opportunity to get away this summer, but have some time off, you might consider attending daily Mass here. There is no better way to start the day.
May God bless you,
