From the Pastor
Last weekend was a memorable one for our parish. Friday evening’s “Men in Black” basketball game was a great experience for everyone. The team made up of Baltimore priests and seminarians (including Father Brian, the “Terminator”) played a team of outstanding parishioners. Father Leo’s halftime entertainment was a real treat. The vocation talks, which were the reason for the gathering, were powerful and well received. Thanks again to our parishioners who played in the game, and for a great evening. West Middle’s gym was filled to capacity.
Saturday’s Gala celebration of our 150th anniversary was also a wonderful event. Thanks again to the committee chaired by Karen Feroli, for providing our parish with a fitting tribute to our anniversary year. Please watch the bulletin for more information about our next event, the St. John School Reunion, July 20th .
Sunday afternoon we held our annual May Procession. The participation continues to grow each year. As we honor Our Lady during the month of May, let us also remember our own mothers on this Mothers’ Day weekend.
May God bless you,
