From the Pastor
I begin my first pastor’s notes of the new-year with a litany of thanksgiving. I want to thank our entire pastoral staff, liturgical ministers, music ministers and all the volunteers whose work and dedication helped make all our Christmas Liturgies prayerful and beautiful. I also thank you for your continued and generous financial support of our parish especially at Christmas.
Bishop Malooly’s presence with us last Sunday at the noon Mass enabled us to begin our anniversary year in a spirit of prayerful appreciation for all the blessings of our past and joyful anticipation of the graces that God has in store for us. The theme of our anniversary year, “Come to the table of the Lord,” is an invitation to participation. The altar that is depicted in the center of the logo is a representation of our present altar, which was in the old church on Main Street, and will be in the new church. I encourage your continued prayers for our parish as we begin our 151st year.
