From the Pastor

Progress on the building of our new church is moving forward on schedule. Cardinal Keeler has made plans to dedicate it on Sunday, September 28, 2003. The work between now and then is considerable. Your prayers for the successful completion of this project are needed and appreciated. The second phase of the capital campaign is now in progress. When you receive a call from one of our solicitors, please meet with them and prayerfully consider making a pledge. Your participation is needed in order to make this endeavor a reality. If you have already made or completed your pledge from the initial campaign and are willing to renew it, please let us know.

Work of our new Pictorial Directory for our parish is also in progress.  Please consider participating in this project.  See the message in the bulletin for more information. This is a wonderful opportunity for a family photograph and a wonderful tool to get to know the members of our parish. Thank you for all your help.

May God bless you,

SCRIPTURE STUDY ... Every Wednesday

The prophet denounces those priests who in their pride have turned away from the Law, causing others to go astray. Jesus, too, is critical of those religious leaders who fail to practice what they preach. All, rather, are called to greatness through humility and service, by sharing their lives with others. All are invited at 7:15 p.m. to review, in advance, Sunday’s scripture.
