From the Pastor

Establishing and maintaining a safe and Catholic environment for our children in all parish programs and ministries, including our parish school, is an important priority for me and the entire pastoral staff. Our parish and school are in compliances with the policies of the Archdiocese of Baltimore and the laws of the State of Maryland. All volunteers who work with children will be held to the same standards that are intended to protect our children and be supportive to the parents. As we begin this new ministry year, please keep our parish mission and our children in your prayers.

May God bless you,

PARISH OFFICES will be closed on Monday, September 2 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.

May our hearts not be hardened, but may we turn from our sin. In our love for one another, we may be called to confront our brother and sister for the wrong they may be doing.  All are invited to join us in the parish center at 7:15 p.m. to review, in advance Sunday’s scripture.

BIBLE STUDY NEWS Beginning mid-September

Christ willed to be born at Bethlehem because "He was made of the seed of David according to the flesh, to whom also a special promise was made concerning Christ "Rom 1:3. Hence, He willed to be born at Bethlehem, where David was born, in order that by the very birthplace, the promise made to David might be fulfilled. Also, Bethlehem is interpreted  'the house of bread'. It is Christ Himself, who said, 'I am the living Bread which came down from heaven.' The third joyful mystery of the Rosary is the Birth of Jesus. A Bible Study on the Rosary will be offered this fall beginning the week of September 22, 2002.  Registration forms are at the door of the Church. For more information contact Beverly Backof at 410-876-6275.
